ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANCE
ANRESIS collects and analyses anonymous antibiotic resistance data from human medicine provided by a representative selection of Swiss clinical microbiology laboratories.
ANRESIS is involved in two NRP 72-projects on optimized use of antibiotics. First in the project of Noémie Boillat, testing an algorithm to improve diagnosis of pneumonia ( Link: http://www.nfp72.ch/en/projects/module-3-optimised-use-of-antibiotics/an-algorithm-to-improve-the-diagnosis-of-pneumonia), second in a project from Prof. Heiner Bucher, wo aims to develop an effective intervention program that will encourage general practitioners to use antibiotics more specifically when treating respiratory and urinary tract infections (link: http://www.nfp72.ch/en/projects/module-3-optimised-use-of-antibiotics/learning-from-claim-data).
