Bern, get ready” (BEready) is a cohort study that represents the population of the Canton of Bern and will collect important long-term data to improve our knowledge of existing infectious diseases and our readiness to respond to emerging health threats. BEready will recruit approximately 1,500 households, consisting of adults, children, and pets, into a population-based cohort. Participants will be continuously monitored for infectious diseases.
